Lanterna Property Management Inc is a brokerage that is licensed to provide Property Management Services to our clients, the owners of rental property in BC. We have 20 years of direct experience in the Property Management Industry, and our area of expertise is in the management of individual privately owned apartments in strata buildings, townhomes, laneway homes, houses and smaller multi family apartment buildings.
We offer Property Management services to the owners of both furnished and unfurnished rentals, with Vancouver as our primary service area. For owners of unfurnished rentals, our service area extends to properties in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Port Moody and Surrey.

Jacy Dobrich
Jacy (Dustin) Dobrich is the Co-Founder and Managing Broker of Lanterna Property Management Inc., bringing more than 20 years of experience in residential property management. Originally from Hinton, Alberta, he relocated to Vancouver in 2000 and has built his career on providing professional, ethical, and client-focused property management services.
Jacy began his property management career in 2004 with Bruce Ward Realty, a boutique real estate brokerage in downtown Vancouver, where he managed privately owned condominium properties. His years with the company provided him with extensive experience in all aspects of residential property management and fostered a deep appreciation for both the clients he serves and the properties entrusted to his care.
With a strong commitment to honesty, transparency, and integrity, Jacy has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and practical solutions tailored to each client's needs. These values remain the foundation of his professional approach and were instrumental in the creation of Lanterna Property Management Inc., where he continues to lead the brokerage with a focus on trust, accountability, and excellence.
Alberto Samano
Alberto Samano is the Co-Founder and Associate Broker of Lanterna Property Management Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo in his native Mexico and brings a diverse professional background spanning financial services, hospitality, and property management.
A Vancouver resident since the mid-1990s, Alberto has witnessed the city's growth and evolving real estate landscape firsthand. He spent more than 20 years in the banking industry as a Personal and Commercial Account Manager, developing extensive expertise in financial management, client relations, and business operations. He later managed a successful B&B-style inn in Vancouver's West End before pursuing a career in property management.
In 2023, Alberto obtained his Property Management licence and, together with Jacy, co-founded Lanterna Property Management Inc. Continuing his commitment to professional excellence, he has since earned his Associate Broker licence, further strengthening his expertise in brokerage operations, regulatory compliance, and leadership.
Alberto is dedicated to providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with property owners and tenants through integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to property management.
